How do I create an account?
Download the TrishaGo app from Google Play Store, then sign up using Google Sign-In or mobile OTP. It takes less than 2 minutes!
What documents do I need to rent a vehicle?
You need a valid Indian driving license for the vehicle type you're renting and a government-issued ID (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.). You must carry original documents at all times during the rental.
What is the minimum age to rent?
You must be at least 18 years old with a valid driving license.
π³ Booking & Payment
How does the payment system work?
You pay a booking fee (advance) through the app, and the remaining rental amount ("Pay Later") is paid directly to the vendor at vehicle pickup. We accept UPI, cards, net banking, and digital wallets via Cashfree.
What is TrishaGo Wallet?
TrishaGo Wallet stores credits from refunds and promotions. Wallet balance is automatically applied to new bookings. Credits don't expire and can only be used within TrishaGo (non-transferable, non-refundable to bank).
Are there any hidden charges?
No! We believe in transparent pricing. The price you see includes everything. The only additional charges would be for fuel (if returned with less fuel), damage (if any), or late returns.
β Cancellation & Refunds
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel 24+ hours before pickup for 100% refund to wallet. Within 24 hours: up to 50% cancellation charge. No-show: full forfeiture. Refunds to bank take 3-5 business days.
Can I modify my booking?
Yes! Contact our support team at least 24 hours before pickup for free modifications (subject to availability). Changes within 24 hours are treated as cancellation + new booking.
ποΈ Vehicle Rental
What condition are the vehicles in?
All vendors must maintain vehicles in good working condition with valid insurance and documents. Always inspect the vehicle at pickup and report any issues immediately.
What if the vehicle breaks down?
Contact the vendor immediately, then TrishaGo support. The vendor has 4 hours to resolve the issue or provide a replacement. If not resolved, you're eligible for a pro-rated refund.
Can I take the vehicle outside Uttarakhand?
Interstate travel requires prior approval from both vendor and TrishaGo. Additional permits, taxes, and security deposit may apply.
π Safety & Insurance
Is insurance included?
All vehicles have basic third-party insurance as mandated by law. This covers third-party injury/death and property damage. It does NOT cover damage to the rented vehicle or personal injury to you.
What happens if I get into an accident?
Ensure everyone's safety first, call emergency services (112), don't leave the scene, take photos, file FIR at nearest police station, and notify TrishaGo + vendor within 2 hours.

What if I have a dispute with a vendor?
First try to resolve directly with the vendor. If unresolved, contact TrishaGo support and we'll mediate. We have a formal dispute resolution process outlined in our Terms of Service.
